Proposed changes to adoption fees

The Department of Child Safety is seeking public comment in relation to a proposal to amend the Adoption of Children Regulation 1999. The proposal will increase some adoption fees and will remove the fee for obtaining identifying information under the Adoption of Children Act 1964.

A Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) - Changes to adoption fees (PDF 165 KB) has been prepared in accordance with the Statutory Instruments Act 1992. This RIS outlines the proposal to:
