Expect respect - we do details the Department of Child Safety's role in child protection and the levels of contact that may be needed between department staff and families to meet the protection needs of children.
The brochure explains that people should expect to be treated with fairness and respect, that department staff expect the same treatment in return, and that inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
This brochure will be provided to all child safety service centre clients at their first meeting with departmental staff. It is also available over the counter at any child safety service centre.
