Expression of interest

Our department works with carers to provide suitable placements for children who are unable to stay at home because their families may not be able to ensure their safety and wellbeing. These placements may be short term or long term depending on the child’s needs and family circumstances.

Register your interest

We welcome your interest in assisting and supporting Queensland’s most vulnerable children and young people and invite you to complete our online registration form. We can then provide you with an information pack about the foster care program before contacting you to confirm your interest in becoming an approved carer.
