Purpose
The purpose of this funding is to enhance access to sexual abuse counselling services for children and young people under 18 years who have been sexually abused or are engaging in sexualised or early sexual offending behaviour and their non-offending family members and/or carers.
Target group
The client group for services are:
- children and young people under 18 years subject to child protection statutory intervention and requiring sexual abuse counselling
- non-offending family members/carers of children and young people under 18 years subject to child protection statutory intervention and requiring sexual abuse counselling
- children and young people under 12 years subject to child protection statutory intervention who display sexualised or early sexual offending behaviour.
