Child Protection Queensland 2007-08 Performance Report

The Child Protection Queensland 2007-08 Performance Report (PDF 2.7 MB) is the fifth annual statistical report on the child protection system in Queensland, produced in accordance with Section 248 of the Child Protection Act 1999.

This performance report highlights both the demand on and performance of the child protection system during 2007-08.  Where available, the report includes a five year trend of data (2003-04 to 2007-08) and highlights the system’s progress made in that time, as well as emerging issues or areas requiring attention.

This report is prepared by Child Safety Services and contains data supplied from other government agencies identified as having a key role in the promotion of child safety to provide a comprehensive picture of child protection in Queensland.
