Viewing and saving documents
This page provides information for users needing assistance to display, download, save or print documents linked to this website. This website may contain some or all of the following types of documents.
Portable document format files (.pdf)
This website uses Adobe Acrobat PDF files to distribute electronic documents such as forms, brochures and other publications. Throughout this website, all PDF documents are marked with the text 'PDF' with the file size shown to help you estimate download time.
To view and print a PDF file, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed, which is available for free-of-charge from the Adobe website.
To view a PDF file:
- Select the link of the document that you want.
- The PDF document will load into the reader.
Note: The PDF file will open within the browser window once you have selected its link. However, for a more trouble-free way of accessing the file, you can save the file to your hard drive. You can then open it again later without going online to find it, and it prints more effectively.
To save a PDF file for later viewing:
- Right-click the link for the document you want.
- Select Save target as… in Internet Explorer (or select Save Link As… in Firefox).
- Select Save (make sure you note where you have saved it).
- Use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the file.
Adobe also provides a free, web-based service for blind and vision-impaired users where any PDF document on the Internet can be converted to HTML. For further information, refer to: Online conversion tools for Adobe PDF document.
If you are not able to access a PDF document for any reason, please call (07) 3224 8045 or TTY (07) 3012 8655 to arrange access to the document in an alternate format.
